Settings–Alarm Management–Humanoid Detection–Turn on Day&Night Humanoid Detection
- If the camera frequently triggers motion detection every day? If the camera is frequently awakened and the recording time is long, it will accelerate battery consumption.
- You can try turning on “Power Saving Mode” or “Custom Mode” to reduce the sensitivity and recording time, and then observe power consumption.
- Or you can send us screenshots of electricity usage statistics and device information for further assistance in the future.

Because the remaining battery level of each camera before leaving the factory is different, the specific time for fully charging may vary.
If the camera battery is depleted, it can be fully charged for about 5 hours (in an ideal state that is not affected by other factors)
*If it is the first time connecting the camera, we suggest fully charging the camera before connecting it.
Battery cameras like the C-series P42 and A32 can only record videos after triggering motion detection to protect the battery and prevent damage to its lifespan. If 24/7 uninterrupted recording is performed, the battery is easily damaged.
- Camera installation position:
A. Objects directly towards the center of the camera may not be detected.
B. Confirm the camera installation position so that moving objects pass through the lens field of view, thereby triggering PlR motion detection.
- Camera installation angle:
A. The camera should be installed 7-10 feet(2-3m) above the ground.
B. The camera should be at an angle of about 15 degrees from the vertical ground.
- Check if the installation position and angle of the camera are appropriate.
- After the camera wakes up, it will first cache the image in memory, and only when a moving object is detected will the previously cached image be written to the video. The maximum caching time for such a process is 4 seconds.
