To connect a security camera to a TV, there are several approaches:
If your security camera has an HDMI output port and your TV has an HDMI input port, you can connect the HDMI with the HDMI cable. Just plug one end into the camera’s HDMI output port and the other end into the HDMI input port of the TV.
Some security cameras also have an AV (audio / video) output interface. If your TV does not have an HDMI input port, but has an AV input port (usually red, white and yellow ports), you can use AV cables to connect both. Plug the yellow plug into the video output interface of the camera, and insert the red and white plugs into the audio output interface of the left and right sound channels respectively. The other end is then inserted into the corresponding AV input interface of the TV.
Some security cameras support network connection and can be monitored in real time through the network. If your TV is a smart TV and is connected to the same network, you can download and install the corresponding monitor application on the TV or use the built-in browser to access the camera’s Web interface to view the monitor screen on the TV.
Whatever method you choose, make sure you have the correct cable and adapter and connect and set according to the instructions in the equipment instructions.
